Turner Brass blow torch

Turner Brass blow torch
Vintage Turner Brass gasoline blow torch, made in USA, measures approximately 11 in tall with hanger, circa 1950s

The Turner Brass Works plant in Sycamore, Illinois closed its doors in January 1999. The gasoline blow torch was widely used by plumbers and electricians. In addition, painters used it to remove old paint. Many homeowners also owned a blow torch for miscellaneous work around the house.

A beautiful tool. I remember similar to these used by painters and telephone linemen when i was at primary school.
