USA-2017-forever_inland
USA "forever" stamp commemorating the forthcoming total solar eclipse of August 21, 2017. The stamp is printed using a thermochromic ink over the moon, so at temperatures below 30 degrees the moon disk darkens and the stamp shows the image of a solar eclipse shot by F. Espenak on March 29, 2006.
The eclipse shall be visible over most CONUS. Many amateur radio Special Events will be on the air to mark the solar eclipse and investigate ionospheric propagation unde rapidly changing solar UV radiation.

At least you have the stamp *smile*.
