Notation: I recently happened across this card, which has long-been been elusive prey. LOL

The McIntyre Block was built in 1898 at 416 Main Street (West side of Main Street just north of Portage Avenue intersection). Demolished in 1979. Image circa 1905.

The caption on this one is printed slightly differently than on yours... and the image is cropped a bit differently as well (sides).

I wonder if there was originally a bit of writing at lower right. Looks almost as though a caption might have been scratched off, although sometimes that can be an illusion.
