WB0076 WPG BEACH - RAILWAY STREET, FACING THE LAKE
Posted May 25, 1909
Publisher / Photographer: Unidentified
A rare early view of Winnipeg Beach. Part of a set of cards from an unknown Publisher. Cards in the set have a "pinkish" tint, Identical font used in the titles, and low pixelation - making the images somewhat less than crisp. This one was sent to a Mr. E. P. Brooks at Louise Bridge, Manitoba.

That's a real rarity of an image.
To correct what I said above, the Louise Bridge PO was indeed in the City of Winnipeg. I'm not sure why it had that name. Possibly it dated back to before the City annexed Elmwood.
