Ursprünglich eine Kunstgalerie dient die Preservation Hall heute als Konzertsaal zur Pflege des New Orleans Jazz. Sie wird seit 1961 von der gemeinnützigen Stiftung "Society for the Preservation of Traditional New Orleans" betrieben.
