Sandvika

Sandvika
Sandvika is a beach popular with locals, especially surfers. It is situated in Alnes at the NW end of the island of Godøya which is the last in a chain of islands linked to Ålesund by underwater tunnels.
From Ålesund the island is unmistakable, it's the mountainous one on the horizon (just right of the middle in the clickable PiP)

Danke vielmals, Berny! Die klaren -15 hätte ich dieses Jahr auch gerne gehabt, stattdessen ein warmes Tief aus dem Süden nach dem anderen....

Besten Dank, Percy! Aksla war bei mir 2012, dieses Jahr war ich zwar auch wieder, aber da hat's einem die Kamera aus der Hand geweht und Regen auf Glatteis war auch nicht lustig...

Thank you so much, Amelia! I would have liked to but sadly had to get back to the minibus back into town. It definitley is a place I want to return to.
