Klasse Aufnahme dieses Phänomens, hier ist es wieder mal bewiesen: Ein Bild sagt mehr als tausend Worte. Großes Physiklabor, wie Lutz schon anmerkte.

Zufällig lief gestern auf 3sat eine Reisedoku (nach Spitzbergen) in der genau dieses Ereignis beschrieben wurde. Der Grund dafür ist das (warme) Wasser des Golfstroms.

Danke, Volker! Das ist ein faszinierendes Phänomen! Hier bei Kirkenes ist kein Golfstrom mehr, zu weit östlich... Wenn es länger kalt ist, friert der Fjord manchmal etwas zu (das würde ich auch mal gerne sehen!)
Spitzbergen würde mich auch mal interessieren...
