Next to the mine were some ranch pens with fresh hay in them. I wasn't sure if this was a private land bubble in the park, or if someone was adopting some cabins, but there were about five vehicles at the structures, probably tourists, but I didn't feel like visiting this unique place with an army of other people, so turned back and left it for another trek. When we went to Barker Ranch, we got to see it all alone and that was more special.
