Last glimpse of the park and the Joshua Trees before we transitioned out of the desert environment and hit SR 78. We bombed all the way back up I5 to the bay area that day. I got a ticket going 90, and we turned on the car heater after hitting the bay fog in a futile attempt to refuse the desert was gone. We logged a total of about 1,600 miles in four days and it changed my life. Stay tuned for more installments!
