Only the wealthy could afford this type of fence and monument. There are several like this (one on the right side of the church tower) just visible. HFF

A beautiful church in a lovely peaceful setting. I hadn't thought about it like that but Isabel is perfectly correct - wealth becomes irrelevant in the end.
