Same card, with a "Sketch: Chrome" filter turned down in the background. A diluted version of "Artistic: Cut Paper" is underneath the gelatine dishes. A little repainting to try and make the glass rims more convincing. I've never been much of a painter, but I do have a cupboard full of cheap glass dishes that served as reference.

Same card, with some portions filtered through "Artistic: Rough Pastels." Some redrawing and repainting, too. Polygonal Lasso and Fill were used to clean up the box and beef up the "inks."

The Photoshop treatment, with the "Sketch: Water Paper" filter-- run in a different percentage and mode for the background than for the figure. Some redrawing and color adjustment and other noodling with the usual tools.

The re-do. Everything except the figure got some version of the "Artistic: Paint Daubs" filter. I used more than one just to keep it interesting, with some help from the Magic Wand tool. Mr. Cleaver was done up here and there with "Artistic: Colored Pencil" (hair, such as it is), some Fill, and the Burn/Dodge tools. Those falling leaf/banana-type things were done using Cut, Paste, and Free Transform.

The re-do has a high percentage of "Stylize: Glowing Edges" filter, in Exclusion mode. Extra texture was added to the cash register with a low setting of "Texture: Craquelure" first. The fragments of other figures left in the original image were removed with Clone Stamp.

"Artistic: Paint Daubs," at a medium setting, on the pink "ice cream." Fill, Blur, and Smudge for some smoothing of the figure and the borders. Some type alteration with Polygonal Lasso. The vintage early 1970s doll hair was made a little more symmetrical through the magic of Cut/Copy/Paste.

The re-worked version mostly involves color alterations with the "command + U" function. Some type adjustment using Polygonal Lasso at the bottom and some "Artistic: Fresco" on the leaves. The finger has some "Blur: Smart Blur."

The re-working has "Artistic: Sponge" in the sky and "Artistic: Underpainting" on the ground. Blur, Sharpen, and Fill were used in various other places, along with the Polygonal Lasso.
