Soutelo - Nossa Senhora do Alívio
After the Virgin Mary appeared to the seriously ill Padre Francisco Fragoa in 1790 and healed him, he donated his entire fortune to the construction of this chapel.

The archbishop authorised the construction of the chapel and work began in 1794 and it was consecrated in 1798.

It was not long before pilgrimages began to take place and the place became an important place of pilgrimage
