Briançonnet - Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption

"Brigomagus" was the name of a Roman oppidum here. Bricks from Roman buildings can be found in the walls of the medieval structures. One of them is Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption, erected in the 12th century, depended on the abbey of Lérins.
