Arfeld - Protestant Church
Arfeld, now a part of Bad Berleburg, was first mentioned under the name of "Arahfelt" in a charter of the Lorsch Abbey in 800. In 1258 a deanery existed in Arfeld, the (since 1578) protestant late Romanesque hall church was erected during this time.
