Dijon - François Rude
A museum, displaying plaster casts of the works of the French sculptor François Rude, is housed in the transept of the former abbay-church Saint-Etienne.
Here in the backdrop is the gigantic "Le Départ des volontaires de 1792" (aka "La Marseillaise"), created 1836. The original is part of the "Arc de Triomphe" in Paris.
