Ravenna - Tomba di Dante
Next to the cloister of the Dante Museum (Museo Dantesco) (previous uploud) is "Tomba di Dante".
Dante Alighieri was born in Florence around 1265. The author of the "Divine Comedy" lived the last three years of his life in Ravenna. He died here in 1318, after returning home from a diplomatic mission to Venice, where he possibly contracted malaria.
