Mussy-sur-Seine - Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens
What is the "Mairie" of Mussy-sur-Seine today, once was part of the summer residence of the Bishops of Langres. The church "Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens" once belonged to a collegiate, that existed here.
The church, here seen from east, was erected in early Gothic style within the 13th century is in a poor condition and urgently needs care and renovation. The doors of the church were locked, but thanks to the "Office de Tourisme" we got the keys and so could "explore" the building. The ceiling has obviously started to crumble. Large scaffoldings hold the vaults of transept arms.
As I just saw on a video, taken in January 2016, that the renovation is well underway:
