Insulator Collection

This is probably one of my favorite pieces.

One of the Supervising Linemen working over a project to fix the Power Outage situation in my area, gave me some old 4kv Insulators I’m assuming he helped take down some where on KCP&L grid or on Old Missouri Public Service Territory.

The colored Insulators are 4kv, and the white Insulators are 12kv - 13.8kv.

From the Supervising Linemen I mentioned earlier on one of my previous photos. Off a old 4kv Line. I’m assuming that was taken down by the Lineman the gave them to me.

Some of the Insulators off one of the poles on a line KCP&L was replacing in my area.
