A lovely purple crocus photographed in our garden. I really like the amazing detail that the macro lens can capture, which the naked eye struggles to see or misses altogether. It opens up a whole new world of photographic and natural interest!

Looking wetter than usual, these meadows are one of the most popular attractions in Sudbury, Suffolk, England. To the left of the picture is The Mill Hotel and in the distance can be seen All Saints Church.
