Very nicely captured Peter..........I saw the news of his re-location on the TV a while ago. It's a super piece of artwork and should be seen by lots of people, which makes a busy railway station the perfect place.

It's extremely busy and unsuitable for the number of passengers and trains the platforms are far to narrow for the amount of people coming from Leicester the train nearly always has to wait for a platform to be available, they could have built a new station on the land HS2 is taking up

No surprises there.........I worked on the railway for 17 years after I retired from the RN and know exactly how bad they are........and the Government is useless.

It's a wonderful work of art, but not sure it should have been named after the unsavoury Ozzy Osbourne. I would rather think of it as "The Raging Bull". I have never been to Birmingham but did stop at New Street Station on the way to Dundee, where my brother was getting married in 1998. Very well captured Peter.

I think most people refer to it as the Bull, the Bullring and Grand Central are the main shopping malls if that is your thing !! as a city I don't find it very inspiring it sprawls for miles there are interesting places to visit. New Street Station is best avoided but outside of London it's the busiest interchange in the country it needs to be at least twice the size. I hope you have a nice weekend Rosalyn

I had the occasion to change at New Street station a few times on trips to London in 2011, when our youngest daughter lived there. It was horrendous, and so easy to get lost in the crowds. Also I had an aunt who lived in Dudley in the 60s and 70s, and we visited the Bullring then. It seemed to be OK at the time, but things change. I'm not keen on this bull I have to say, but it is dramatic.

The Bull doesn't look right there it just doesn't belong. New Street is the worst station I know of the platforms are to crowded but if you are going West from Leicester it's change at Birmingham it's worth knowing the red lounge has access to all platforms. have you been to Moor Street apart from the electronic ticket barriers and destination boards it's like a preserved railway
