It's beautiful Peter. I see it's National Trust. What a lovely track to follow. A bit to long for all in one go if walking....for me anyway! Have a good weekend and try to stay cool! There is a bit od a breeze here today, but it's a very warm one!!

Most of the tramway trail is flat with a gravel surface, the rock is in the Lime Kiln area that's rougher, it must have been totally devastated but nature has reclaimed it. It was the first time I had noticed the carving I'm wondering if there are any more, you can find the stone blocks the rails were fixed to.
