BT - Boer War era Fowler road locomotive

When the owner of Fowler No. 8726 was nearing the end of the restoration, he faced the minor problem of the canopy. As can be seen from these images, Fowler's have a distinctive curve to their canopy. One method of achieving this is to use much narrower planks, the alternative he choose was to ask Stanegate Restorations to make some curved planks, not a problem!

The Fowler made an appearance at the South Tyne Steam & Vintage Rally in Corbridge (June 2011), and at Haltwhistle Carnival.
