Also known as White Ladies Priory, from the habits worn by those who lived there. Dissolved in 1536, played a role in the 1651 escape of Charles II after the battle of Worcester. Now in ruins, some parts of the medieval church and the 19th century boundary wall of the graveyard are all that remain above ground. It is possible that a lot of the "monastic" building were timber, or "quarried" for building stone after 1536 [that boundary wall, for example, although I think that is more likely to have come from the church itself.
