On Sunday the warning level went up to RED for the North & Eastern parts of Scotland - for most of the Monday 22nd.

Peak wind gusts overnight 21 to 22 January 2024.
99mph at Brizlee Wood, Northumberland.

It was slightly less in my local area, the nearest Met Office recording station was c75mph between midnight and 01h00.
Local river had a peak flow of 2.23m around midnight.

It's been wild !
