TRv6 - painted planks {sides}
Various planks being painted {3 of 3}.
The red is the outside face for the body planks, the cream is the inside face of the roof planks [most of which are original] and the black is the underside of the floor. [normally the underside of floor planks are not painted, but modern plantation timber needs the additional protection]
In the background, the van's body structural framework is now in undercoat.

You do need a lot of space to lay out when painting ... we paint planking and panels off the vehicle to ensure that there is enough paint in areas that will be concealed or hard to access neatly when the vehicle is built.
