O&S[W] - cooker {2 of 2}

Very large cooking apple - probably a "Bramley" - measuring about 5" across.

Most of these are collected as windfalls - the tree is around 80 years old and quite tall, which means the fruiting branches are so far off the ground it is difficult to harvest the apples safely.
Variety is unknown, but judging by how they cook I'm pretty sure of my identification.
