tbi - Prior's Rooms
The sections to the right are thought to be the Prior's / Abbot's quarters - or possibly apartments for important visitors. They face South, and have the benefit of the bread ovens in the undercroft.

Note the stone roof remains - a means to protect the building from being burnt by raiders, not the usual Vikings, but the English from 1296 onwards ...
