gdn - bramble fruits
A close up of two blackberry fruits, botanically these are classed as aggregated drupelets, the larger one is about 2cm across ...
.
... and it wasn't the only one of that size.
.
These were picked from from canes growing semi-wild in my garden, which have produced several pounds [and/or kgs] of fruit this year. So far, apart from eating some with ice-cream, I have made a considerable quantity of bramble jelly and the left-over pulp produced has been frozen for making crumbles and pies later in the year.
