cvd - UK data summary : 01st April 2022

In some bizarre policy twist, the UK government has decided that there will no more free testing for covid, with a small number of exceptions. Apparently as part of their "living with covid" policy in their attempt to force people back into shops & offices by saying "it's all over now!".
This is also shown by a continued degrading of the quality of statistics easily accessible by the general public.
Daily new cases today = 47,441 with 55,612 as the 7-day rolling average.
