As on the 10th March 2022, the 7-day case rate to 5th March 2022 for my local area in SW Northumberland [Haltwhistle & Bardon Mill] was the lowest it had been for over a year at 42.9 cases per 100,000 population.
Copied off the dashboard map [from 3 cases only].
Unfortunately, it only lasted for the one day, as what I think was the second Omicron [BA.2] wave arrived and people stopped taking even basic precautions ..
