Deaths, however they are counted, continue to rise. I believe that any death is a tragic occasion, and that a sizable proportion of the deaths with/from covid were preventable. The reduced number after the vaccination rollouts - including the booster dose - shows that, especially as many of those dying in recent weeks were not fully vaccinated.
