IoM[2] - Port Erin lifeboat

IoM[2] - Port Erin lifeboat
Port Erin has had an Inshore lifeboat on station since 1992.
[According to my LBES Handbook, that should be B-813 "Muriel and Leslie" an Atlantic 85 class ILB, who has been there since 2006].
Looks like the station mechanic is changing propellers.

Robert Swanson, Annemarie, Frans Schols, Marco F. Delminho and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

Propellers get damaged regularly, so this is a common sight. Thanks for sharing.

Very True - especially if the 'boat has been too near rocks or a pebble beach.

Another 'boat station had a couple of damaged props on display - all that remained of one was the hub and about an inch [2 - 3 cm] of the blades, damaged during a daring rescue under some cliffs of an injured walker.
