WYS (mww) - Miedzygorze

Miedzygorze - Village limits marker.

One of the several places AZ and EK took CAS & I to visit, as a day trip. [5th August 2009]
I understand that a few years previously (I think in 1997) the valley had been subjected to severe and destructive flooding, signs of which were still to be seen. This was largely as a result of a flood - prevention dam being overtopped. As a student of landscape and river geomorphology I found this interesting, but did not forget the human tragedy involved in such events.
