As this is a solid lump of teak, it will be a prominent part of the restored vehicle.

We (four of the Stanegate Restoration team) had been taken to look at a couple of NSR "first class" carriages that the NSRRSRT - aka the Knotty Coach Trust - were contemplating rescuing from near Rudyard Lake.
After looking at them, the trustee escorting us, said that he wanted to look for "something else" in the area ... after working our way into some bushes and trees, this ducket was spotted.
We had found the sad remains of an NSR passenger brake ...
