Hardnott Fort from the air.
The visible remains are the perimeter wall, corner turrets and gates. The internal buildings are, from the top - granaries, headquarters (principia) and part of the commandant's quarters. The exterior building is the bathouse and just to the east is the route of the modern road for Hardnott Pass and over to Wrynose Pass.
