whn - low tide
The tide is just beginning to flow in again, after the low water time point for the normal spring tides in Whitehaven. This exposed the shoals around the tip of the West Pier. The area just this side of the New Old Quay is being used for repairs to a beached MFV (one of several visits by this trawler)
