TiG - Class 11
Class 11 Shunter - 12088 "Shirley" at the Aln Valley Railway (Lionheart Site). Named after the late wife of the owner. Needs some minor body and engine work before a full repaint but can be used.

Class 08s (aka "Gronks") have 19 long tons brake force but although the Class 11s are same engine size (350 hp) they have 32 long tons brake force, also a slightly better top speed. But the same nickname !

I think the repaint will be after some engine and bodywork repairs - and painting should protect against the dreaded "rustworm"
