Bei einer Führung durchs Insektarium gab es die Gelegenheit, diese Vogelspinne in die Hand zu nehmen. Ich war ja so stolz auf mich, daß ich es tatsächlich gewagt habe... :-)
(Was für eine Vogelspinne das genau ist, weiß ich leider nicht mehr.)

The spider is a tarantula, of the Theraphosidae family. But either I forgot, or never was told which species it belongs to.

I saw this scorpion during a guided tour through the incect house at Wilhelma (Stuttgart, germany). The scorpion is several cm long; 7 or eight, if I remember correctly.
Thanks to Manrus, a friendly person in the ID Please group, I know it's an Emperor Scorpion.
The picture was taken at Wilhelma, the zoo of Stuttgart (ca. 48°48' N, 9°12' E).
Thanks to Buckeye, I know the identity of the flower. And another photo in the ID Please pool helped identifying the hoverfly.

Ein großes Insekt auf einer Blüte im Heidelberger Zoo. Dank Barbol weiß ich, daß das Insekt eine Holzbiene und die Pflanze eine Kugeldustel ist.
