Originally, I had no idea what that is. However, Buckeye. from the ID Please! group identified this butterfly as an Owl butterfly (Latin: Caligo, German: Bananenfalter). :-)

Die Spur von Blau, die auf den Flügeln zu erkennen ist, könnte bedeuten, daß es sich um einen Blaue Morphofalter oder Himmelsfalter (Morpho peleides) handelt - der im Insektarium lebt -, aber sicher bin ich nicht.
The traces of blue visible on the wings could indicate a Peleides Blue Morpho (Morpho peleides) - which lives in the insect house -, but I am not sure.

I considered this to be a Heliconius melpomene, but became doubtful about the identification.
TexasEagle provided a reference link and identified the butterfly as Heliconius melpomene cythera.
