Überschwemmung IX

Der eine Besen und der eine Stiel (danke an den, der sie da angebracht hat) haben tatsächlich gereicht, die Tür so zu blockieren, daß die Wassermassen sie nicht eingedrückt haben. Von hier aus ist nicht mehr als ein kleines Rinnsal in unseren Keller geflossen.

A single broom and a single broomstick (thanks to the guy who put both in place) were indeed sufficient to bar the door so that the water could not open it. From here, no more than a trickle ran into the cellar.
