Just my personal feeling.. but to have a higher exposure would "white-out" the texture". This has beautiful definition. Love it.... as with much of what we do.. personal taste and satisfaction is the most important thing. What you see and want may not be what I or others see. SO.. for me.. its perfect. I was born in London.. about 5 miles from this scene.
