There are no trains running at the GCR but essential work continues inside the shed. There were 2 of us in today helping Tom with the overhaul of Southern N15 4-6-0 30777 Sir Lamiel.

The tender is now on road 3 and is being stripped before lifting to allow play in the axleboxes to be corrected. The tender water gauge is being replaced but after removing some of the bolts others proved impossible to free and in the end were cut out, as seen here.
