Rebuilt Bulleid Battle of Britain pacific 34053 Sir Keith Park on the first day of the GCR Winter Gala in January. Cruising towards the foot crossing at Birstall with the 14.30 from Loughbough into Leicester.

A good image, well suited to mono.
Apart from this loco, I can't think of any steam loco I have missed running in preservation south of the border...except maybe a Taffy tank or two.

Cheers. Interesting comment and it got me thinking how many steam engines in preservation I haven't seen. Lots of industrial locos for sure. Royal Scot since it returned to the main line.

I did not count industrial locos .....and also, I forgot about Royal Scot, which I have not seen since it was at Bressingham, but I did see it move under its own steam there.
