Ex-LMS rebuilt Royal Scot 4-6-0 46115 Scots Guardsman with 1T53, the 15.12 Carlisle to Lancaster Fellsman steam special, has only a few more yards to go before the summit at Ais Gill, 1169 ft (350 m) ASL.

Loose_Grip/Pete club has replied to Phil Sutters clubIt looks like WCR has got over its problems with Network Rail. The loco for this rail tour was provided through WCR & I'm on the NELPG Jacobite support crew, also a WRC operation, & the new system seems to be working quite well.
