Very atmospheric! I had a Trix 56XX way back.

Thanks Phil. When I was a kid I had 46201 in BR black which seems a bit weird now. Did Princesses ever run in black?

I'm afraid my railway knowledge doesn't stray far into LMS/LMR territory. I must admit that I get mystified by the intensity of debate about the details. I know some of Dad's photos were quoted on one of the serious railway modelling sites, when there was a debate about whether GWR Manors ran in lined green or unlined green and when they were in black. Another section of the hobby, if that's the right term, seems happy to put a SDJR 7F in blue and renumbering it. Now there is talk of renaming one of the Kings King Richard III. Each to their own I suppose.
I had a quick Google and although there are plenty of black 46201s in model form I could only find one distant shot of one real one that looks black - www.flickr.com/photos/27696689@N06/2985641961/in/photolist-5xQckx-dRWcpt
I was surprised to see it in lined green, but then standard BR express locos got that livery.
