Some details of the door in the iron entrance gate of a shipyard in Amsterdam. The shipyard is gone for quite a while, the ground in the area was cleaned and new houses and offices are or were built, the gate is still left.
The shipyard was owned by the Nederlandsche Scheepsbouw Maatschappij (NSM), which later was merged to NDSM. Late 1970’s the company closed.

Thank you so much for your super comments about my rust presentation, so glad you enjoyed the show! AND I LOVED LOVED LOVED the pictures you sent me to of the leftover ship remnants on the beach and every wonderful thing that you shared in your pictures of that place. Fabulous!! Such a treat. Diederik, you are a FINE photographer and have the skill set to share what you are seeing so perfectly. What fun it is to have you take my hand and lead me around on your adventure. I had a very nice time, thank you! :)
