Unhappy Bench
Not all benches are associated with happiness.

This photo was taken by a Yashica Electro 35CC film camera and COLOR-YASHINON DX 1:1.8 f=35mm lens with a Pro 52mm (UV) Japan filter using Kodak daylight negative film, the negative scanned by an HP Scanjet G4050 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

Indeed, Delhi and India in general are tough for the poor. It's hard to push away your human feelings, not to start crying everytime you go on the streets. Most people find the comfortable way to deal with it via shifting into sort of ignorance, in order to protect own sane mind. And yes, while this might be the year 1974, the presence is even more harsh. I realised, that some homeless become even so hopeless, that they sleep on the road, not using even a carton as or newspaper to cover (it tends to be cold even in Delhi).

With so much poverty overwhelming the streets, I witnessed myself becoming numb and devoid of feelings as a defense mechanism.
