Granite Mountains

Granite Mountains
The high desert of Mojave National Preserve is worthy of it's national park status!

This photo was taken by a Kowa/SIX medium format film camera and KOWA 1:3.5/55 lens with a Zenza Bronica 67mm SO56•2C(YA3) filter using Adox CHS 100 II film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitalized using Photoshop.

Though deprived of water much of the year and scorched by a relentless sun, there is a stark kind of beauty in the high desert of Western North America.

I'm jealous that you still have some CHS II in 120! Nice photograph!

Although I still have several rolls of the Adox CHS Art 25 (discontinued many years ago), Adox re-invented this great film several years ago as, Adox CHS II 100, and I picked up several rolls at B&H Photo. They are presently awaiting a shipment and are "Out of Stock". I hope this doesn't indicate that it has be discontinued once again.

I tried a few rolls of the CHS II and really liked it. Am hoping the same and will stock up if it becomes available again. It's curly though!
