Mexico

Mexico
Beginning on September 16, 1810, the people of Mexico fought a long war of independence from Spain, finally achieving victory with the entrance of the Army of the Three Guarantees led by Augustín de Iturbide to Mexico City on September 27, 1821. Spain under the rule of Isabella II finally recognized the independence of Mexico in 1836.

This photo was taken by an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera with a Super-Multi-Coated Takumar/6X7 1:4.5/75mm lens using Kodak Portra 800 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
