Winter Stroll - IR Version

Winter Stroll - IR Version
In an alternate infrared dimension someone is also taking a nature walk on a beautiful Northern CalifornIRa winter day. They also had a close call with a rock serpent bursting through the ground, looking for easy prey.

This tripod-assisted photo was taken with a Hasselblad 500C medium format film camera with a Carl Zeiss Distagon 1:4 f=50mm T* lens and Hoya Infrared R72 ø67 filter using Rollei Infrared 400 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

Are rock serpents common in California? I suppose that's the reason you carry a tripod in order to fight them off. It can also double as a camera support if the ground shakes too much.
